About Me

Hello, I’m Claire, an Ofsted registered childminder based in Shefford. I’m a mum to three girls who all attend local schools, and I’ve been at home caring for my children since 2009. Over the years, I’ve found real joy in supporting both my own children and the little ones I care for — watching them grow, learn, and develop their own interests is incredibly rewarding.

My setting offers a warm, friendly, home?from?home environment where children feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves. I follow the EYFS framework and provide a mix of structured activities and child?led play, helping each child learn at their own pace.

**Our Days Together**
I love giving children a variety of experiences, both out and about and within the comfort of my home. This includes:

- Story times and rhyme times
- Trips to the local library
- Toddler groups
- Exploring the woods and enjoying nature
- Plenty of “home time” where children can:
- Play freely with toys
- Enjoy books
- Sing, dance, and be creative
- Follow their own interests and imaginations
- Build strong connections and friendships with their peers

This balance of outings and relaxed play helps children build confidence, independence, and curiosity while still feeling secure and settled.
