About Me
Hi,My name is Marie and I am an Ofsted,fully experienced,qualified Childminder.
I live in Tottington,Bury with my 2 sons of 14 and 11 years old.I have been working with children for 25 years,I love my job and find it very rewarding.
I live in a 3 bedroomed detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac with a safe and secure garden for the children to play in.There is a large selection of toys,books,puzzles,crafts available to help your child's individual development,learning and understanding of the world.
The children and I take regular trips to toddler groups,parks,play centres,libraries,museums etc.
We mix with other childminders and their children so the children I look after develop friendship groups which is important for their development.
Whilst in my care your child will be treated exactly the same way as I treat my own children and they become very much a part of my family.They are looked after within a safe,stimulating and fun environment were there are many opportunities to play with an assortment of indoor and outdoor toys as well as drawing,sticking,playdoh etc.
My Experience
I am a mother of 4 Children.In addition to this I have worked in Childcare for 25 yrs,in a nursery (lots of experience in the baby room),a primary school and as a registered Childminder.
I have an NVQ level 3 in Childcare,learning and development,Paediatric First Aid trained and regularly attend Safeguarding and Child Development training.
I have a certificate in Food Hygiene.
I was graded a'Good'by Ofsted in Feb 2019.
I follow the EYFS Framework which enables your child to develop both social and educational skills from an early age.I ensure your child is regularly observed and that their next steps and development are followed through.Daily Diaries are used to give parents updates.
I have excellent references/reviews from parents on request.

I work from 8am to 5.30pm however these hours are flexible.

We have had marie as our little boys childminder for the last 2-3 years and she has been excellent. So reliable, flexible and caring. Our little boy was always excited to go to Marie’s and have lots of fun and learn new things. Our son started school this year So we no longer need her amazing services but we stay in touch and always will as she became part of our family.
