She's a Gem.

Alma is highly reliable, sensible, thoughtful, caring and proactive. She’s got the kids and the house, and the cats sorted.
She’s been through toilet training with my youngest, starting nursery and starting school, he’s a right chatterbox and you can see the bond between them. With my oldest who has some diagnosed memory issues, she’s patient and calm and she ‘gets him’. She’s the best nanny we’ve had.
Alma takes on new tasks in her stride taking the kids to the Optometrist and the GP when I can’t, she was unflappable when we looked after some Yorkshire Terriers for a couple of weeks (I’ll be quite honest and say our neighbours weren’t quite so understanding).
Alma is brilliant at amusing the kids during the holidays, taking the kids to the Wonder Lab at the Science Museum, Centre of The Cell, Transport Museum, Natural History Museum, Local Parks she even took them fishing with her family which they loved.
To explain further why she is such a gem. Last year we had a bit of a house party before we went away for Christmas, we had a tidy up as much as possible but had to leave to get to our destination in time, Alma had offered to feed the cats while we were away and when we came back we noticed that she’d put fresh sheets on the bed and tidied the house and made sure there was fresh milk in the fridge, - we came back from a long journey home stuck in traffic and our appreciation for her was pretty huge - she is a true gem.
Alma has worked for us for 2 years; I’m getting made redundant and going back to full time study, so we do wish her the best.
