Fantastic childminder

I highly recommend Cherelle Samuels as a childminder. She looked after our daughter (almost 3) for 6 weeks in January-February 2019. She was absolutely brilliant: reliable and professional, as well as relaxed and friendly. We had a ‘getting to know you’ meeting, which went well, and our daughter was soon clambering all over her, giggling and playing happily. Cherelle came to our house to look after our daughter. She prepared food for her at mealtimes, and took her out to play when the weather permitted. She quickly built up a strong bond with our daughter, and played actively with her—everything from jigsaws to play doh, to doctors and nurses, to more physical clambering about. In addition, she was great at supporting us though potty training. She dealt with accidents very efficiently, and helped our daughter to minimise these by teaching her little rhymes and songs about going to the loo. Cherelle is very calm and manages toddlers very well. She never raised her voice and was expert at diffusing potential toddler tantrums and tensions through constructive play.

Cherelle is very efficient and offered the choice between weekly and monthly invoices. She was also extremely flexible, and managed to accommodate our childcare needs when, as always happens, plans changed at the last minute. I will definitely be keeping in touch if we need a childminder again. Our situation changed, which is why we discontinued the arrangement, but we are delighted with how things went.
