About Me
Hi, my name is Stacey.
I currently live in Falmouth with my two little girls, 4 and 6 years old and our dog, Marley. We love spending time outside, visiting our beautiful beaches, woodlands. I love baking, being creative and making things. I have been working with children for all of my career and I really enjoy spending time with babies and children and helping them learn and develop and offering them authentic experiences where possible.
I am a caring, reliable, hard working individual and I always take pride in what I do. I am currently in the process of opening my own business, but in the meantime I'm available for childcare services and mothers help locally.
I have a DBS on the update service, Peadatric first aid training, Safeguarding level 3, experience and training working with children with hearing loss, Makaton training and Speech and Language additional needs. I have experience with newborn babies in nanny positions too, upto 10 year olds. I love being outdoors and have spent the summer in the woods running outdoor learning sessions for 3-8 year olds.
My Experience
I have a vast range of experience in childcare that I have gained over the last 15 years in different settings. I am currently opening my own business, but in the meantime whilst awaiting building work I am available for other childcare needs.
I have been a manager of a local nursery for the last 3 and half years where I gained lots of experience working with 0-8 year olds and building up my qualifications and continuous professional development. Prior to that I was an ofsted registered childminder in my own home in Falmouth, whilst my own two children were babies. I have also been a nanny, raising 3 boys, 2 from newborns. I helped run the family home, got the children into routines and settled them I to school. I have lots of babysitting experience for various families too-daytime holiday help and evenings. I have ran my own playgroup, welcoming parents and grandparents in each week and setting up invitations to play and explore and ran a 'forest school' summer club in local beautiful woodlands.

My Availability
I am available for babysitting/nannying/mother's help on evenings and weekends and daytimes, depending on my own children's childcare arrangements. Currently I am available to work various timings so please do get in touch. I am also happy to help overnight with newborns.
