About Me
Let me introduce myself, I’m Sophie 26, I drive and live in Cheshire. I studied law, finance and English A levels and then went on to complete my degree in social work. I have a huge amount of experience from new borns right upto teenagers, I look after children on a 1 to 1 basis or if they have siblings have experience with upto 5. I have worked with a range of disabilities some include alcohol fetal syndrome, ADHD, autism, OCD, attachment disorder and am fully experienced in this area. I have first aid certification and relevant qualifications to hand.
I can provide references from parents that have used my service before. I can send over extra information about myself and we can meet before hand. Whether it’s one day or one week I’m here to help??
Things I can offer:
?Days out- you may want your child/ren to spend the day out and about whether that be the zoo, park or ice skating. Having a car means I’ll be able to accommodate days out
?Ability to work very early in the morning, very late at night or even overnight.
? Negotiable wage- I like to leave it upto the parents to decide rate of pay
? Ability to assist with homework/class work or studies due to my education.
?Sensory activities- I have a mind full of different sensory activities for your child to receive sensory feedback from.
?Honest and reliable.
Please note I do adhoc babysitting so as and when I can please message me if there’s a significant date coming up where you need to be child free or a few days.
My Experience
I am a qualified social worker and I have a vast variety of experience with both the old and young, my mother is a foster carer and has fostered children and babies of all ages and abilities. I am able to look after anyone ages 0-13 and experiencing living with foster children and babies has expanded my skills greatly and gave me the knowledge in order to maintain children's progress and safety. I also have a qualification in health and social care and in childcare, this includes placement within a nursery. I am also an experienced baby sitter and have done it for many years.
My Qualifications
My biggest achievement was completing my degree in social work. I have gained at GCSE level Bs and Cs. I also have a level 3 in childcare and another qualification in health and social care. I have a A in finance, A in English and a B in law at A level.
My Availability
I am available for one off babysitting jobs or a few a week

Sophie has been taking care of my 2 oldest boys and taking them to school for me since I've been unwell. My boys absolutely adore her, they look forward to seeing her every morning and run to the door when she arrives. Sophie is always on time or early and is extremely reliable. I've booked her in for babysitting while away for a gig and my boys are so excited. I trust Sophie wholeheartedly with my children, I know they are in good hands. My eldest is autistic and adhd and my middle has suspected ADHD.
