About Me
Hi, my name is tracy ( Lockett) i am a fully qualified child carer and I live in Bucknall with my young dughter. I have been fully checked and have an up to date dbs check.
I understand how hard it is to leave your child as they are the most precious gift we could have and with this in mind i do a settling in process over a few sessions so that little one can get used to me and the new surroundings and hopefully this will also help you to feel more at ease when leaving your little one for the 1st time.
I provide a warm freshly prepared meal at lunch time and healthy snacks thoughout the day which is included within my price.
We go on regular outings such as play groups, softplay areas, farms, local parks and many more to help the children socialise and provide learning experinces.
My aim is to provide a welcoming, warm, friendly and caring envrionment full of learning experinces for all.
My Experience
I began my journey into child care when i left school 20 years ago since then I have worked with all ages and all types of ability.
I was a room superviser and out of school club leader i had my own group of children to care for and i planned lots of outings trips and activities for all ages and stages of development.
I went on to work in a residential care home with teenagers i have been there for 3 years.
I then felt it was time to move on to the next chapter of my life and begin my adventure as a child minder i have been registered since march 2017.
My Qualifications
I have my nvq 2 and 3 in early years childcare and education
nvq 3 in playwork
nvq 3 in young peoples work force social care
an up to date 1st aid certificate
and i have attended many course thoughout my working career.
My Availability
i am open from 7.30 till 5.30 Monday to Thursday
At the moment i am currently full but I will have a 3 day space Monday Tuesday and Wednesday available from August 2026.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
