About Me
Hello, I'm Elizabeth and I live in RG12 area.
I have been childminding since 2011 and really enjoy looking after, caring and watching children grow and develop into their own person. The children I care for recently have been either been recommended or brothers/sisters of previous children I have cared for.
I like to get the children out and about as much as possible. We go to the parks, on walks, playgroup and Library in town. We also enjoying doing activities at home. Making items for special celebrations ie Mothers day cards, Christmas cards, special occassion items etc, painting, play doh, making cakes/biscuits or decorating biscuits, using scissors (age appropriate), colouring, stickers, and gluing.
I have a range of books and toys for children to enjoy - cars, dinosaurs, babies/buggies, doctors, constuction items (lego/building blocks, magna tiles), food play and lots more.
I have a garden in which children can play in a safe and secure environment. There are lots of games with balls, scooters, slide, rocker, ride ons, water play, chalks etc that can be enjoyed.
There are a number of parks which are great to play and have adventures in ie Jocks Lane, Southill Park, Great Hollands and The Look Out and the Discovery Centre. During school holidays we also adventure a little further places like TriLakes and Beale Park.
Through all of the activities, the aim is for children to have fun, laugh, learn, grow and be happy.
My Experience
I have looked after children from 6months old to 4 years old.
At present, I am looking after one girl and one boy. I will also continue to care for a boy over school holidays and adhoc pick ups from Crown Wood nursery.

My Qualifications
I attended Bracknell and Wokingham College and have passed my "Understand how to set up a home based childcare service" which is a unit of the NVQ Level 3.

Level 2 Food Hygiene for Catering V4
CAF Course (Common Assessment Framework)
Level 2 Behaviour Management course including schemas
I have other qualifications - 6 GCSEs including Maths and English.

My Availability
I have a space available Monday to Thursday 8am till 5pm.
I have one child who will be attending Crown Wood Primary School Nursery so I may have collect the child from time to time. I will also continue to care for him over the school holidays
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I accept 30hours Funding. Also payment through Tax Free Childcare.
