Hello Parents,
I'm Pooja, and I was born and raised in South East London where I still live with my parents, my younger brother, his wife and their lovely dog, Ember. I'm of Indian heritage and I'm a Born Again Christian. My faith is a very important part of my life and shapes the way I see the world and the way I treat others. It has taught me the importance of love, kindness, patience, compassion and serving others with a caring heart. These are values I hope to bring into the way I support and care for children and families.

I am an Early Childhood graduate with over nine years of professional childcare experience. Throughout my nanny journey, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s development and I enjoy creating a safe, nurturing and positive environment where children feel happy, supported and able to thrive.

My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and have completed my A Levels and GCSEs. I also hold certifications in Culinary Arts with training in Patisserie and Confectionery as well as Bread Making.
I have a full Enhanced DBS check, Full Paediatric First Aid certification and genuine references - available upon request.

My Fees
- Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £19 per hour for one or more children, including light housekeeping.

Pooja worked with our family for over 6months and her care for our 3 children was exceptional. She went above and beyond, was always on time/early, clean and great with communication. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nanny!

Pooja started with us as our full-time nanny and housekeeper when our son was 2.5, and stuck with us through his whole transition into nursery — she made it so much easier than it could have been.
She was always punctual and totally trustworthy, so we never had to think twice. But honestly, what made her so special was how nurturing and caring she was with our son. He really loves her.
We also went through a rough patch with some big life changes, and Pooja was such a steady, calming presence through it all. She gave our son a real safe space when things felt chaotic, and that meant everything to us.
We're so grateful for the care and love she gave our family. Any family lucky enough to get her is in great hands.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Pooja as our baby boy’s nanny in London.
Pooja has been punctual, super friendly and a truly wonderful capable nanny to our son and has become a good friend to me. Pooja first started looking after our son part time when he was just six months old.
I trust Pooja completely with our son, and he absolutely adores her!! I am gutted that because we are moving out of London, we are no longer able to work with Pooja regularly.
My son has such fun on the days he spends with Pooja, lots of different activities both inside and outside. Pooja is a great communicator who always keeps me up to date, which really puts my mind at ease, plus I love to see photos of my son whilst I work :)
Pooja also was great at keeping all our babies items and toys clean and tidy during the day, and helped with our son’s laundry. This was all done with such care and was a great help to me! Thank

Pooja started working for us on the 28th September 2021. This was a casual hours basis, as I am self employed. My daughter was 6months old at this time. We are first time parents, so we were very nervous about leaving our baby with a child minder.
Pooja took great care in following the schedule I had made for her. She arrived with her own printed copy, and made notes as I explained everything. Pooja would always send updates throughout the day which always made me feel comfortable.
Pooja was always extremely punctual, arriving 10mins early before her start time on every occasion. I can honestly say, I could always rely on her. She never let me down or cancelled at the last minute.
Pooja had a very nurturing nature with my daughter. She always referred back to her childhood studies to help Her reach key milestones.
Pooja would also send me links in her own time to help my daughter progress. She introduced me to Montessori and educational toys and books. She genuinely cared for my daughter’s welfare, so much so that she would research and send products to help with teething, or anything else my daughter was struggling with.
Before I hired Pooja, I checked her previous references, and they were all very positive. Pooja is honest and always polite. She has the perfect temperament needed to look after young children. I can’t recommend her enough.
