I hired this person as part-time in addition to my existing PA. After a period of training, it was clear she could not be resposible for children or adults. My twins developed fear of "monsters" which I had to coach them out of it with the help of nursery as she introduced this idea to them. She claimed to one of my householders that there was a ghost in the house and she described the person to them. She had poor understanding of hygiene and what care entails. Although she was very well treated, she decided one morning to simply not show up or even bothered to initiate contact and did so when my other PA was on holiday thus putting us at rush due to needs to care for 3 vulnerable people. The a string of harassing massages ensued on the same day demanding her pay promptly without giving notice and allowing for accountancy to calculate all requirements. I then started receiving calls from her mother! This is a highly inappropriate and irregular behaviour for someone in care jobs. She did not understand that she should have provided a statutory week notice.
