Hello, my name is Bethany but everyone calls me Bee! I am a nanny, taking the Montessori approach. Happy to become Ofsted registered if you require it.
I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate individual. I have worked in childcare for around eleven years and have worked my way up from an apprentice to a room manager. I have experience with running rooms and managing children and staff. I always show passion, drive and determination in my work and aim to improve and better myself. I believe that communication is the key to operate any business effectively.
I love exploring the great outdoors with children. They can truly express themselves and let their imaginations run wild! I also enjoy; visiting the wildplace, farms, forests and of course the park!
Indoors, I really enjoy involving the children in age appropriate cooking activities and messy play activities. I follow the child’s interest that day, letting them lead play. I encourage them to participate in some adult led activities based off their interests, if they wish to do so. I'm also happy to attend play groups with the children, soft play and play dates. I really enjoy swimming so would be more than happy to take the children to swimming lessons or for fun swims, where I can teach them to swim myself.
Both indoor and outdoor socialising is paramount for myself and the children. After 2020/21, I feel the children have missed out on so much, adults too! I have a few childminding pals who I bubble up with and a few nanny friends who we go on adventures with, forest school etc. So the children will always have the option to make new friends. I aim to keep this going indefinitely!

My Experience
11 years in childcare. I have baby sat for numerous children. I have young family members who I have cared for. I currently nanny for two families and babysit on a regular basis for multiple families.
My Qualifications
Level 3 diploma in childcare. Pediatric first aid trained. Up to date DBS (part of the update system).
