My name is Nicola and I run ‘Baileybug’s Childminding’ located in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
I am Ofsted registered and rated ‘good’ in all areas at my last inspection.
I am qualified to level 3 and have 12 years experience in childcare both in a nursery setting and as a childminder.
Baileybugs provides a relaxed homely environment for children to learn and develop through play. I treat all children here as part of the family.
As well as providing an inviting and stimulating environment for children to explore and access materials/toys for free play, I also plan activities and learning opportunities based around each child’s interests and abilities.
I have a dedicated playroom and a large enclosed garden for the children to safely explore and play in. The opportunities provided cover all areas of the EYFS and will encourage their curiosity and development.
I have a small group so I can provide the best care and attention for each individual and ensure all needs are fully met. We also have lots of opportunities to socialise in bigger groups with regular visits to play group, parks, music and movement groups, soft play and the library.
I can also provide school drop offs and pick ups for Croft Primary School.
Before and after school children will have opportunities to enjoy activities, socialise and enjoy a safe space to relax and unwind.
As well as a level 3 qualification in childcare, I have an up to date First Aid certificate and safeguarding training.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 6 years and before that I worked in a nursery setting for 6 years.
I also have 2 daughters, a 6 year old and a 3 year old.
My Qualifications
-Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Early Learning and Childcare
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce
- Pediatric First Aid
- Safeguarding training
- Online training and webinars in behaviour management, health and safety, equality and inclusion and learning and development

I will have a space available from SEPTEMBER 2024 (Fridays I close at 3pm)

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£5 p/h - meals included
I do NOT charge for holidays/days off provided I receive enough notice
I can offer funded spaces for 3/4 year olds
