About Me
I am 46 years old and have been a registered childminder for 12 years and find the job fun, fulfilling and very rewarding. I live with my husband and 2 children, aged 20 and 17 and my cockapoo Jasper! I love working with children and feel that my minded kids have become part of my family. I have a great relationship with all my parents and have developed my relationship with each child from baby to nursery, through to primary and in some cases seeing them off to secondary school. I have a separate playroom for the children ensuring a variety of activities in a fun-filled space!
My Experience
I have over 12 years experience as a childminder and whilst gaining my HNC in Early Education I trained at a Local School Nursery. I have worked with all age groups and brought up my own 2 children who are now 20 and 17. My daughter is in her 3rd year at Glasgow University and my son will be off to University September 2022!
My Qualifications
I gained my HNC in Early Education and Childcare and have continued with professional development over the years gaining qualifications in Child Protection, Values and Attitudes, Prejudice and Discrimination, Roles and Responsibilities, Good Practice, Creating a Play Environment in an Outdoor Setting and Paediatric First Aid. My daily schedule is very busy with trips to toddlers groups, softplay, bookbug and various parks. Arts and crafts and other fun indoor activities are also a big part of our day. I am fully insured and have my disclosure and PVG.

I have spaces available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am til 5.45pm.
