About Me
I have 2 boys; one aged 12 and one aged 7. My eldest has autism and needs support at home and out and about to help him get involved in activities along with physical help to do things. I work part time hours and my husband works long hours, we need support as a family.
My Requirements
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced nanny to support our family long term in Lancing. We are able to offer 19 hours per week with additional hours available during the school holidays.
We have 2 children aged 12 and 7. Our 12 year old is Autistic, ADHD and has learning difficulties. Due to his additional needs we need extra support for our family.
Requirements:
>Local to Lancing or able to travel to it easily
>Must hold a driver's licence and own a car.
>DBS
>Some experience with special needs, Autism, anxiety, ADHD would be good.
>Happy to help out around the house as required (cleaning, cooking etc.)
>Available at weekends, after school and holidays
>Reliable and committed
Hours:
>19 Hours per week:
>Mon, Tue, Friday -14:00-18:30
>One day per weekend (Sat or Sun) - 5.5 hours (Could be every other weekend if you are not able to commit every weekend)
Additional hours will be available during school holidays and some evening babysitting.
Looking for:

>Patient, Understanding and using initiative to help and come up with ways to support him or us as a family.
>Someone happy/flexible to look after the children alone or support parents/extra pair of hands when Mum or Dad are around.
>Fun, energetic and outgoing.
Example activities:
> Taking children to lessons (swimming, horse riding, football etc.)
> One to one care of disabled child as required
> Baking with the children
> Helping with homework and learning
> Supporting disabled child with personal care
> Taking the children out to activities (walking, park, farms etc.)
> Cooking children's dinner
> Helping with cleaning and house chores
