Hi everyone
I qualified as a nursery nurse 25 years ago. When I had my son I decided to look into becoming a childminder and I'm so glad I did. It's such a rewarding job, not many people look forward to there work but I love what I do.
I have been registered for nearly 7 years. Don't have any pets.
My Experience
Enjoy everyday i have the children, i orgsanise extra activites when the kids are off school, ie bowling, cinema, ice skating.
I do however take the children i have regularly to swimming and funworld, also do many activites such as baking, arts and crafts, feeding the ducks, go to the park with bikes, scooter, bubles, ball, aeroplane, have picnics and go out for lunch.
Also have a very large toy cupboard with various toys to stimuluate there imagination, teach them colours, shapes, numbers. Musical intruments, puzzles and books.
My Qualifications
I have been a qualified nursery nurse since 1989.
I studied at James Watt College and gained my NNEB Certificate in 1989.
Have an up to date childcare protection certificate.
Have been fortunate enough to work as a nanny for serveral families and have looked after children from as young as 6 weeks old.
My Availability
At present i have 1 full time place and 2 part time places
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
