About Me

My names Linda and i am Fully DBS checked, Ofsted Registered Childminder, paper certificates were not given to those of us that have been registered for more than 15 years. However we could not be Ofsted Registered without a police check. I have just had my Ofsted inspection and I was awarded a “Good Grade” I am 55 years old and live with my little dog . I offer a nurturing home from home environment while following the EYFS. I have a lovely playroom set out where children happily learn through play. We love to go out exploring, feeding the ducks. Squirrels, birds. We don’t have a tv in the playroom, it’s all about imagination and play here. References are available to view.

My Experience

I have worked with children virtually since leaving school at the age of 16, I have been a day to day activity organiser at a preschool in the mornings and a classroom assistant in the afternoons , i was also a lunchtime supervisor at the same school for around 8 years before I decided to become a childminder many years ago, I love my job & I find it very rewarding, I am still in contact with most of the children I have looked after in the past, they all become family
