About Me
Hi, I am a Registered Childminder & Early Years Practitioner, living in Epping with my husband and son, supporting local families.
In August 2017 I achieved an Outstanding in my first Ofsted Inspection. I have recently received a Good under the revised Inspection Framework.
I have 35 years experience in a variety of childcare settings, including 9 years as a Nursery Manager, and experience working in childcare whilst living in Australia.
I hold a current paediatric first aid (including anaphylaxis awareness training), Safeguarding Designated person Level 3, Food Safety & Hygiene for Early Years Settings Level 2 & passed my Food Hygiene Inspection, have a clean licence.
I run a warm, friendly childcare setting with a large garden with both grassed & patio areas, to enable us all to make the most of exploring the outdoors and garden whatever the weather.
My Experience
I qualified as an NNEB in 1990 and have a wide range of experience including having worked as a Deputy Nursery Manager for 8 years, a Nursery Manager for BUPA -Teddies, which was taken over by Bright Horizons for 9 years. I also worked in an Outstanding Early Years setting on the Central Coast in Australia for a year.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are £70 per day, 8-6pm. I only offer full day space only. I also offer a 7:30am start at an additional cost.

Jennie has looked after our little boy who is now four for two years and he loves going to stay with her for the day. She was a real find! I needed extra childcare cover and the nursery he also attends did not have any availability. It is lovely to have him be looked after in a home environment with someone who genuinely cares about him and notices things about him and his development.
Jennie is caring. She is always calm and patient with my little boy. She was previously a manager at a Bright Horizons which set my mind at rest when considering a childminder option. When you meet her she is so calming and supportive of the children. The main thing for me though is that my son absolutely loves being with her which says it all. He has made so many friends at her home and really loves her. We will be very sad to lose her when he starts school as she has been such a support. I would definitely recommend her care to other parents. It is safe, happy, educational and filled with a calming energy that is great for children.

My little boy absolutely adores Jennie, and we’ll be so sad to say goodbye when he starts school. I still remember meeting her for the first time when he was just over 1 year old, her warm, calm, patient presence instantly reassured me. He’s always had the best time with Jennie and the little friends he’s made there. She always has plenty of activities on the go, and I’ve seen him come on so much since being with her. If I ever ask him where he’d like to go for the day, the answer is always “Jennie’s” usually followed by a little celebration dance. We feel so lucky to have found her. 💛
