My Experience

My first job at the age of 17 was working in a private nursery for a year and I was based in the pre-school classroom working with children between the ages of 2-4. My duty as a nursery practitioner was to make sure that the physical and emotional needs of the child was fulfilled, such as making sure that the food that they ate was healthy and nutritious for them, putting them down for naps, helping children to interact with one another in a way that taught them life skills when it came to things like how to speak to one another, for example; saying please and thank you and not snatching from their friends but asking politely. I also helped in the development of the children's learning, definitely those that were my key children, helping them with things that they struggled with weather it was literacy or numeracy, speech development etc. I’ve also have experience with special needs children.

I’ve worked as a part time nanny looking after 3 children ranging from the age of 2-8 when starting out with them. I was with this lovely family for nearly 3 years.

My previous job was in a nursery as a nursery practitioner. I worked at this nursery for 2 years and worked in the baby room. The age group that I worked with ranged between 7 months - 2 years old. My daily task consist of sterilising and making bottles, changing nappies, putting the babies down for naps, planning and carrying out activities and taking the children on walks.

My Qualifications

11 GCSE including English and Maths (A* - C)
NVQ Level 2 childcare and young people workforce
certificate in safeguarding and first Aid

My Availability

3 full days a week (part time)
I am open to working 4 days a week

My Fees

• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
