My Experience
I have been working as a childminder since 2017 and, as a mum to two daughters, I bring both professional and real-life parenting experience to my setting. Caring for children is something I genuinely love, and it shows in the way I build warm, trusting relationships with every child I look after.
Before becoming a childminder, I worked in hospitality, including in my family’s restaurant and later in management roles within other restaurants. This background has given me strong organisational skills, patience, and the ability to stay calm and adaptable—qualities that are essential when caring for young children and managing their individual needs and routines.
I also have experience providing companionship and support for elderly people, which has further strengthened my caring nature, empathy and understanding of different individual needs.
Over the years, I have developed a good understanding of early childhood development and how to support children’s confidence, communication and independence. I pride myself on creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy and valued, and where parents feel reassured that their child is in caring and capable hands.

Availability
I offer a consistent, reliable childcare service with a strong focus on continuity for both children and parents.
During school holidays, I work closely with a trusted network of experienced childminders with whom I have built strong professional relationships over the years. We work in partnership and regularly support one another, meaning your child is cared for by someone familiar, experienced and carefully chosen.
This approach allows children to benefit from a slightly different environment while still enjoying a consistent routine and high standard of care. It also helps them build confidence, adaptability and social skills by forming relationships with other children and trusted adults.
Many parents find this arrangement offers the best of both worlds—secure, home-based care during the year, with flexible and reliable holiday cover already in place, removing the stress of finding alternative childcare.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
