About Me
My name is Anthea and I live in Rustington,West Sussex with my husband and my 18yr old son.
We have a pet dog,2 cats and some chickens.
(The children are never left unsupervised with any of the animals)
Ofsted registered assistant (which enables me to offer flexible care)
Large airy lounge/diner with a variety of toys for all ages
Secure garden with artificial turf to allow all year round play and large green space out the front of the house.
Walking distance to 4 good parks,library,beach and shops
Home cooked meals available

My Experience
Previous to childminding I worked as a childminding assistant for 2 yrs ,a midday meals supervisor at a local school for 3 yrs and helped at Summerlea school with reading,art days,trips ect...
Plus looking after my own 3 children!!!
My Qualifications
Introduction to Childcare Practice (Home-based)
Level 3 diploma in the children's and young people's workforce
Paediatric first aid
An introduction to child protection
Working with child protection issues
Level 2 in food safety
My kitchen has been checked by environmental health and I scored all 5's
Planning for next steps
NVQ Care level 2 in direct care
NVQ Care level 2 in residential/hospital support
I attend regular training to keep me up to date
My Availability
Mon - Thurs 7.30am- 5pm (outside these hours may be available)
Fri 7.30-4
Availability:
Space available all day on a Tuesday after Easter

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6.50ph Which includes drinks and snacks for children over 1year
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs at Rustington Community Primary School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Summerlea Community Primary School

Anthea goes above, beyond and round the corner! My daughter has been so lucky to have her in her life for over 2 years now. Will be devastated when she leaves for school in September ! Choosing someone to look after your child is a HUGE decision but from day 1 we felt so supported by Anthea. Florence took to her straight away and thoroughly enjoys her time there. Anthea’s home is so welcoming, there’s always fun activities available and lots of trips out. The children are so well cared and rarely want to go home at pick up!
Wish I could give more than 5 stars as Anthea thoroughly deserves more, so yes, highly recommend!

Both my children have been with Anthea, youngest is still currently there.
The atmosphere is amazing, always vibrant and happy. The amount of activities they do is insane and so varied, there is something new pretty much every time he is there - he goes 3 days a week.
The snacks and home cooked meals couldn't be better and my son loves it there as a whole.
Anthea is a wonderful woman who adores children and really works well with the parents, always telling me what my son has been up to, what he ate at lunch etc.
When my youngest turned 2, I didn't even think about looking elsewhere, went straight to Anthea and asked if she had a space!
It has been 4 years so far since I've known Anthea through both my children and couldn't ask for a better childminder and lovely individual.

My son goes to Anthea's twice a week and loves it there. He is always smiling and giggling when I arrive and just adores it there from his play mates to the garden to Anthea herself.
Everything is just brilliant and I have no worries what so ever when I go

My son goes to Anthea every wednesday all day. Jack is very happy there and loves all the animals. He has learnt so much with all the activities Anthea does with all the children. Highly recommended
