Full Time Nanny Job In Slough
About Me
About us:
We are a warm, friendly family looking for a full time nanny. We have four children: an 11?year?old boy, a 7?year?old boy, a 5?year?old girl and a 1?year?old girl. We both work in IT, mainly from home, with occasional days in the office.
We live in a townhouse near the Grand Union Canal, with good bus and train links close by. We are a practising Muslim family and only eat halal food, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable in a halal home.
The role:
The position is primarily to care for our 1?year?old daughter during the day, while the older three children are at school. She is a bubbly, happy little girl who can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. She has had a nanny since birth and is used to having people around her.
Typical daytime duties will include:
Looking after our 1?year?old: playing with her, reading, age?appropriate activities and outings (to be agreed)
Heating up and prepping her meals and snacks. Putting her down for a nap. Keeping play areas and toys tidy.
Once the older children are home from school, we would like: A simple snack given to them. Some help keeping toys and their rooms tidy. Support with the school run, as and when needed.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny who is:
Naturally kind, patient and genuinely enjoys being around children.
Someone who is happy, positive and engaging, and enjoys getting down on the floor to play.
Someone reliable, punctual and organised.
Someone comfortable working in a home where we as parents are often working from home.
Experience with babies/toddlers and with multiple children is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications would be a paediatric first aid course and a current DBS (can be attained if needed).
If this sounds like a good fit for you, we would love to hear from you and arrange a chat.
We are happy to offer a competitive salary and either 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday (to be agreed with the right candidate).
