My Summary
About Me
I am a childminder living in Stoke Poges. I have a two daughters aged 12 and 17, both love the little ones and treat them like family. We love the outdoors and go on a minimum of two forestry outings a week where we make the most of natures resources to encourage children to learn in a natural environment. I go to 2 toddler groups a week to get the children involved in the community and to build on their social skills. We also visit the library and have access to a eco garden which we visit regularly from Spring to Autumn and grow our own fruit and vegetables. When we are home we do lots of activities following weekly themes that follow the EYFS to ensure that children are learning whilst still having fun. We have a lovely big garden that we are out in most weathers. We are lucky enough to have use of an allotment area where the children get to grow from seed and then eat their produce and take home to share with their families.

I am registered with Ofsted and have all the necessary qualifications and insurances.
My Qualifications
I have my NVQ level 3 for childminders, up to date paediatric first aid and food hygiene.
My Availability
Due to children moving onto school I will have availability from July’26
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My fees are £8.00 per hour which includes meals and activities. I also accept government funding and tax free childcare.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Karrie. From the very beginning she welcomed our son into her home with so much warmth, kindness and care that leaving him with her always felt easy.
She has created such a nurturing environment where the children enjoy wonderful adventures, imaginative play, stories, crafts and plenty of time outdoors. It was clear to see how much thought and effort she puts into helping every child learn, grow and develop, while making each day fun.
Karrie and her family have became so much more than our sons childminder – she became part of our extended family. She has supported only our son but us as parents too, and we will always be grateful for the love, patience and encouragement she has shown him. He has made the most wonderful memories during his time with her, and we know she has given him the very best start before school.
We couldn’t recommend Karrie more highly. Thank you for everything you’ve done for R, we’ll always be forever grateful.

After having a few not so winning experiences with nurseries and a few childminders, we were introduced to Karrie by our neighbour.
Our son loved her straight away, and with all the affection, extreme patience, dedication 100%, hard work, commitment that she has put into his care we saw a completely different boy blossoming infront of our eyes.
I truly and wholeheartedly recommend Karrie as an exceptional person and a true professional.
