I’m beginning to look ahead for childcare options for when my son turns 5. He is currently almost 3, and I’m exploring how to make full?time home education work alongside my part?time career, which may occasionally involve unsocial hours. Because of this, I’m hoping to connect early with childminders, babysitters, or nannies who feel aligned with our approach.
We follow a gentle, child?led, nature?focused, Montessori?inspired style at home. Someone who enjoys outdoor play, nature walks, practical life activities, and learning through play would be a wonderful fit.
I am currently based in Hadleigh, but I can also consider:

• or further afield for the right person

• offer full?day care (approx. 7.30am–6pm)

• can offer flexibility for occasional early starts or later finishes
• may have future availability or a waiting list
• are open to ad?hoc babysitting and occasional weekend support
To support my home?education plan, I would likely be looking for:
• Two to Three full days per week — ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Core hours around 7.30am–6pm
• Ad?hoc weekends (if available)
• Occasional later finishes (up to around 8pm)
• Flexibility for ad?hoc overtime shifts, arranged in advance around your availability
