About Me

Hello and welcome to Mag’s Kidz!
My name is Margaret, although I’m usually known as Mags or Maggie. I am an Ofsted registered childminder with 9 years of childminding experience, and I’m so excited to be welcoming new families into my setting.

I provide a warm, caring and welcoming home-from-home environment for children aged 0–5 years, where every child is encouraged to feel safe, valued and confident to be themselves.

At Mag’s Kidz, our core values are friendship, caring and growing confidence. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, secure and supported, so I love creating opportunities for children to explore, make friends, try new things and develop their independence.

We are proud to be a multicultural setting and love learning about the different backgrounds, cultures, traditions and experiences that each family brings. I want every child to feel that their identity and family are welcomed and celebrated.

My Experience

Apart from having my own children, I have gained a lot of my experience while working in nurserys, being in schools as a Teaching Assistant and volunteering within children workshops.
I have my childcare level 2 certificate
First aid and done several childcare courses.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Pre- School practice
