About Me
I live in Cowes and have 2 children. I am a qualified teacher and believe in learning through lots of play. I love Lego, sailing and generally being outside.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary teacher and have been teaching in various primary schools for 13yrs. I have my own tutoring business which is based on building confidence, children having fun whilst learning and using critical thinking skills. I teach home educated children as well as after school for children aged 4-11yrs, this is mainly Maths, English, phonics etc but have also taught science and geography to children that are home educated. I teach from my home as I have many resources so children can learn practically through games and having fun. I worked in a preschool with 2-4yr olds for nearly 4yrs. This is a very rewarding job, observing and playing with children to progress their skills in exploring the world around them. With younger children I love using sign language through songs and nursery rhymes, this is a great skill for them to learn and for children with communication difficulties it can be an insight into their understanding. I currently teach at a local primary school with 9-11yr olds teaching them Maths and English.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £22.00 per hour
Babysitting fees include travel and will be rounded up to the next 15mins. Minimum 2hrs. After midnight I charge £15 per hour.
