I have the pleasure of working alongside my assistant - who has many years minding/nannying experience and a mummy of two children.

My name is Sophie White, I'm married with two girls aged 14 and 11 and my son aged 4 We all love children in my home....which is why I decided on minding. We love caring for little ones, watching them grow and develop, love watching friendships blossom within our setting and genuinely enjoy the company of kids! We attend many local groups, parks, soft play etc. We adapt activities to suit each child's interests, encouraging development through a child's enjoyment! Each child is individual and unique and that is never forgotten at my setting!

I have been minding for 11 years age range - newborn - 10 years
My Qualifications
I'm an Ofsted registered childcare professional - graded GOOD in all areas on my firstand second inspections. I am DBS checked, First Aid trained and refreshed every 2 years, Safeguard trained and a mother of 2 girls aged 13 10 and have a son aged 3 We have experience with children aged from 10 weeks - 10 years.
My Availability
Currently have 1 space for EYFS children (0-3yrs) full-time as the little ones are leaving to start big school September 2025
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£70 day - this includes food and groups attended, lots of fun and cuddles on request

We are so grateful to have found this particular setting and would happily recommend Sophie and her lovely assistant Sophie confidently to anyone looking.
Initially, we were quite anxious about leaving him with anyone outside of the family, but they have made us feel completely at ease.
He has become a much better eater thanks to the variety of foods they introduce, and we love receiving the regular updates on his meals and sleep.
What stands out the most is their genuine, honest care; they notice immediately if he’s feeling under the weather and monitor him just as closely as we would at home. Knowing he’s getting those 'extra cuddles' makes all the difference. We couldn't ask for a more caring environment!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Sophie and Sophie as our childminders. Our son started with them when he was just 7 months old and settled in so well. Now at two years old, he genuinely looks forward to going every day.
They both work incredibly hard to support his learning and development, and it’s been wonderful to see how much he has grown and thrived. They plan great activities and make a real effort to take the children to play groups and out on trips, which has helped build his confidence and social skills.
The support they offer to our whole family has been wonderful. They are kind, attentive, and truly invested in the children they care for. We have recently started sending our second baby as well, and she is already perfectly content and settled with them, which speaks volumes about their warmth and consistency.
We are so grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, dedicated childminder.

Our daughter has been with Sophie for 18 months now and it’s amazing how much she’s blossomed, all thanks to Sophie (and her lovely assistant Sophie)’s absolute adoration of her. Our daughter comes home happy every day and loves telling us about everything she’s got up to with her friends there. They’re a close-knit group, and they all seem to look after each other really well. Sophie gives us regular updates about activities they’ve all enjoyed, and places they’ve been, and we love getting photos of her having fun.
It was daunting leaving our first daughter with anyone, especially since covid and her never having even been left with family when she started, but Sophie (and Sophie) made the experience incredibly smooth.
We feel so comfortable our daughter being there that they just feel like an extension of the family.
Thank you both for everything you do! Couldn’t recommend more!
