About Me
Hi my name is Sandie I am a level 3 qualified nursery nurse, I am registered on the DBS update system. I have been inspected and passed by Ofsted 20/04/2021 and I am also registered with ofsted for tax free childcare.
I live on the outskirts of Accrington, close to the park and art gallery. I enjoy working with children and have two grown up daughters and a five year old granddaughter. My hobbies include gardening, countryside walks, swimming, crown green bowls, holidays and socialising/eating out with friends and family.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified nursery nurse/teaching assistant/learning mentor and have worked in schools and nurseries for 25 years.I worked with special needs children for ten years and autistic adults for 7 years. I have also been a part time and full time foster carer. My DBS/CRB is portable and I have a paediatric first aid qualification valid for 3 years from Feb 2021. In school I worked with children from reception through to year 6, delivering a wide range of interventions including reading, speech and language, behaviour literacy, numeracy,social skills etc.
My Qualifications
NNEB/Teaching Assistant level 3, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding level 1 and 2. Skills to Foster, A level English, A level Psychology, GCSE Maths, Massage and reflexology level 3 and many more.
