Part-Time Nanny Needed – Stansted Abbotts

We are a friendly family based in Stansted Abbotts looking for a fun, reliable and flexible part-time nanny to help care for our two boys, aged 13 and 10.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with older children, is highly organised, and likes being part of a busy, active household.

Key Responsibilities
• Some afternoon school pick-ups
• Cooking dinner for the boys
• Helping to pack school bags and PE kits
• Washing school uniform and sports kits
• Keeping on top of the boys’ school and sports schedules

About You
• Organised, proactive and confident managing a busy timetable
• Comfortable working independently
• Enjoys engaging with older children
• Own car and clean driving licence essential

Hours (Term Time)
• Monday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
• Tuesday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
• Wednesday: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
• Thursday: 4:00pm – 6:30pm (or 8:30pm every other week)
• Friday: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

School Holidays
• Hours will vary, with additional hours available when we are at home
• Holiday hours will always be agreed in advance
• We travel quite a bit during school holidays, so the nanny would be able to have this time off

Pay & Extras
• Petrol expenses covered
• Generous overtime pay for additional hours or babysitting
• All meal costs covered when staying late or babysitting in the evenings

Flexibility

We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate and can discuss:
• More or fewer hours
• Additional days if required

There is also the opportunity for occasional evening babysitting or overtime, always agreed in advance.
