My Requirements

We are based in Stansted Abbotts, Herts and are looking for a part time, fun, flexible individual to help care for our two boys ( aged 12 and 10) who likes a busy working environment.

This role is perfect for someone looking to work a few hours a day with older children. Main duties would include afternoon school run. Cook dinner for the boys. Pack bags for school for the following day. organise uniform and PE kits and washing for the boys. We may sometimes also need help to drop off and pick up from their local club sports commitments after school.

The candidate would need to be very organised, be confident keeping on top of school schedules and various school and club activities.

We travel quite a bit during school holidays and would therefore not require the nanny when we are away. ( a great perk for the right candidate) We often travel over the whole Christmas period, 2 weeks around Easter and for a few weeks during the summer holidays.

When we are at home in the school holidays it would be great to have nanny available for work, however I can be really flexible with hours required and offer hours each day to suit nanny and us. Plus it doesn’t have to be every day if preferred.

Realistically nanny will work 20/23hrs in school term time. I can increase this to 30 hrs in the school holidays when we are at home ( if wanted.)

All expenses inc petrol, lunches and dinners if working are included. Nanny must have own car and clean driving license.

Typical weeks work in term time. ( flexible with hours and start times and even work around someone who could only do 4 evenings a week.)
Mon: 2pm - 7pm
Tues: 2pm - 7pm
Wed: 2pm - 7pm
Thurs: 3pm - 830pm
Fri: 3pm - 6pm.

some overnight stays including a couple of weekends a year may be required but we would pay overtime for this and would be agreed in advance ( 2 max a year.)

candidate will need to have DBS check, provide reference, and ideally have first aid.
