**QUALIFIED** hello I am Katie and I am 33 years old, I am fully qualified and have over 16 years of experience in working with children in all ages ranges. I am trustworthy, reliable and professional. I will always make sure that your child/children receive the highest standard of care. I am currently a childcare trainer and train apprentices in childcare and I have just completed a sleep training course. I am available to babysit most evenings and weekends and also looking to start giving advice for sleep routines alongside babysitting duties to build up my experience and knowledge.
My Experience
I have worked in nurseries for over 14 years and have been a nursery nurse and a preschool room leader and now worked my way up to management positions where I have been a nursery manager for 3 years. I have also been a nanny for various families and I also worked on cruise ships providing a fun programme for children of all ages in the kids clubs. I am always around children in my home life aswell and childcare is my passion ensuring children are always looked after offering my highest standard of care and ensuring I always go above and beyond
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC level three national diploma in early years and am fully first-aid trained. I am also working towards a degree in childhood and youth studies and I have completed a course in assessing childcare. I have also completed a level three award in education and training.
I have completed a sleep trainer course recently and looking to build my experience up to support and use the skills I have learned on this course
I have also completed many other courses based on behaviour and additional needs with children

It was our first time leaving the children with anyone other than family but Katie was great and we instantly felt confident with her, we were able to meet her beforehand too which was a really big help. We have a young 5 year old who has a few additional needs and an older 10 year old who can be rather shy, Katie was brilliant with both of them and everything went lovely. Thank you Katie!

Katie has been very flexible and a great help with my children. Katie is always ready with a smile and the children love her which means I don’t ever have to worry about leaving them. Katie always makes it fun!

Katie came to our rescue when I first returned to work after a few years maternity career break. She put me at ease straight away. She confidently took charge of my three wild boys on several occaisions. Each time I came home from work the children were asleep, in their own bed after a very active and fun day!
I wish we could have offered Katie the hours she was looking for - I'd have her care for our children in a heartbeat!
