Caring, experienced and homely

Corinne has been such a fantastic childminder for our family and we will miss her so much! Our daughter loves going to her house, she definitely sees it as a second home. She adores Corinne's daughters who have welcomed her into the family - I think she considers them to be adopted sisters! She has been with Corinne for over 2 years, since she was only 8 months old, and has flourished in that time.
Corinne is very calm and clearly extremely experienced and made us feel confident in leaving our child for long days while at work. She has been able to offer us advice on various things which has been helpful as first time parents. Her communication is excellent and I love checking the app she uses to record all our daughter's milestones, achievements, activities and lots of gorgeous photos. Corinne plans lots of fun activities which I would never think to do e.g. visiting the fire station, visiting the airport, seasonal crafts, pumpkin picking etc as well as regular trips to Marwell zoo, Hilliar's gardens, local parks, toddler groups and walks in the forest etc. They spend a lot of time outdoors, but she also has a huge range of amazing toys which our daughter loves. Corinne appropriately encourages independence which has been so helpful e.g. teaching our daughter to put on her own shoes and coat, walking longer distances etc.
On an evening when we were delayed collecting our daughter due to travel problems, Corinne was more than happy to care for our daughter into the evening and included her in her family's evening routine. She is extremely flexible and accommodating which has relieved us of a lot of stress.
My daughter has been so happy with Corinne and often doesn't want to come home in the evening! The thing we have appreciated most is how homely Corinne's setting is - it really feels like a home from home where our daughter has felt loved and secure, as well as having lots of fun.
