I reached out to Emily as a Mum of a 6 month old facing an extended period of solo parenting whilst my partner was working abroad. From the moment she first visited for an initial meeting, I got a wonderful energy from her, and she was a great with my daughter who took to her immediately.

Emily is reliable, trustworthy and a true natural with children, especially babies! As a first time Mum with lots of anxieties, she was able to gain my confidence and I felt at ease very quickly in terms of leaving and trusting my daughter with her. She's been with us for 2 years now (between 1-3 days/week), and in that time she's helped to support me through weaning, sleep regressions, crawling & walking, toddler tantrums and potty training! She has a true mothers instinct (from her own family & years of childcare experience), and encourages my daughter to be independent and confident, all whilst making her feel very much loved and valued. And with that mothers instinct also comes a motherly efficiency in terms of what needs doing around the house and organising around baby and their needs. And the icing on the cake is Emily's beautifully positive and fun personality, which is very much appreciated when I'm in the chaos of balancing a baby, work, house, life etc!

She's truly been a godsend to our family, and it's felt like having my own mum's supportive energy around :-) I wholeheartedly recommend her to any families with babies.
