Hello, I’m Annie, a 25 year old nanny and nurse. I have worked as a private nanny for 6 years but worked in childcare for 9 years overall. I currently work as a Nurse in ARI & have recently accepted a job working in the Neonatal Unit in Aberdeen.
I am a passionate, loving, reliable, responsible and experienced child carer. I provide excellent quality care, where the child(ren) can explore, play and learn in a safe environment.
I have a full drivers license with own transport, an up to date PVG. I’m SSSC and NMC registered. I have the following certificates: First Aid, Food Hygiene Certificate, Children’s Psychology Diploma and Enuresis training.
I am currently looking to take on more ad hoc family’s requiring childcare, whether that be evening babysitting, overnights or just a few hours in the day.

My Experience
9 years experience working with all ages but mainly under 5. I specialise in babies and toddlers mostly, but I love working with all children. I have been a mothers help for young babies, going late at night & through the night. Sleepovers and weekend work are normal for me. I have done sleep training and toilet training with family’s too.
Some family’s I have nannied for on a long term basis (some part time & some full time) include:
girl 4 weeks - 4.5 years (ongoing)
sisters 10m & 2 - 3 & 5 years
baby girl 5 weeks - 6 months
baby girl 1 week old - 10 months
baby boy 6 weeks old - 15 months
boy 18 months - 6 years
sisters 1&2 - 3&4 years
I have worked for over 30 family’s over the years, ages from new born to 12.
I would be happy to help with light household tasks if required - for an extra charge.
I have worked as bank staff in nursery’s, in the babyroom through to preschool, so I am very much used to getting stuck in with children as soon as I meet them, putting them for naps, feeding them, and creating a bond straight away.
I do regular wedding and event childcare.
I have had nursing placements in A&E, AMIA, Cardiology, Health Visiting & District Nursing.
I worked with the health visitors for 6 months, which has been extremely beneficial in my role as a nanny, learning child development, feeding and associated problems (reflux, colic etc), sleeping and weaning.
I have worked as a Cardiology, Respiratory and Geriatric Nurse for over a year now in ARI, however have recently accepted a new job working in the NICU.
