My Summary

My Experience

I have worked in Childcare settings for the last 10 years. I have worked in nurseries where I worked my way up from being unqualified to a room leader. At the biggest nursery I worked for I was in charge of a room where it could hold up to 60 3-5 year olds, alongside the children I worked with 7 other members of staff organising the children & staff across 5 different spaces. Within nurseries I have worked with all ages covering 6 month old children to almost 5 year old children. After working in nurseries I saw my next adventure as Nannying. I was an Ofsted registered Nanny for an American family working with their two boys aged 1 & 7. I did before school & after school care for the 7 year old & I cared full time for the 1 year old. I covered all aspects of care and learning and really enjoyed doing this. My next position was for four & a half years again with two boys, when I started they were 6 months old & 2 years old. This position ended due to the child going into full time school. This takes me to now where I have been caring since 5 months old for a little boy. Sadly my position is due to finish the end of June due to the family relocating to Ireland for work opportunities. Within my time I have internationally travelled with the family, proxy cared for the child & been incredibly flexible with my duties & role.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare & Education - I achieved a B grade within the course. For the course itself I went to college for 2 years to gain. Alongside attending college for 3 days a week I did a range of placements from working in day nurseries to working in schools for the other 2 days a week. I also hold 9 GCSE's at C grade or equivalent. I hold a full 12 hour paediatric first aid course & paediatric anaphylaxis training (although both are due for renewing late 2019)
Alongside childcare qualifications I have a Level 2 In business and administration and a level 3 in events management. I recently have renewed several qualifications (Nov 22). I also have completed a course in Understanding mental health in the Early Years.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My Nannying & Babysitting fee's are competitive to others and with my experience I believe to be very reasonable. I am happy to discuss fees though with the right family.
