About Me
Hi my name is Lucy. I am 30 years old. I live in walton on Thames. Close to the station. I also drive. I worked at a pre school as the SENco. I have been in the childcare and education industry for 11 years and I am level 3 qualified in early years. I have many certificates for various courses related to childcare that i have completed and I am willing to show you.
I have worked at a local school as a class TA.
I then moved on to nannying and also have done nannying for special needs. My most recent family was a little girl (age 3) and her brother (age 7). One of whom has type 1 diabetes. I was very confident in managing this and taking appropriate action. I am used to working with families 7:30-7:30 in all holidays.
I now have my son, he also comes to work with me and has done since two months old as I didn’t take much maternity (Born DEC 2022)
I am very good at managing my time. In my last nanny job me and my son left for work at 5:40AM.
Some families I have worked for have often asked me to have children overnight which I am happy to do so.
I will always have my baby with me whilst I am doing nannying so please only message if you are ok with this. He’s a very easy and chilled baby (so far) and I understand your children will need just as much attention as my own. :)
I am currently as third in charge, a special educational needs co ordinator and designated safeguarding lead aswell as a keyperson at a day nursery. How ever after going back into nursery work, I have decided actually I would like to go back into nannying, to work with a family on a closer level as well as spending time with my own child.

My Experience
I worked in a nursery for three years with children up to the age of 4. I have done nannying for 3 families over the last five years. One family had children who was 1 and 3, the other had older children 10 and 11. I also regularly help with my niece and nephew together every Saturday. My nephew arrived March 2017. And my niece arrived may 2018. I have looked after them since birth. I then worked as a SEN nanny for a boy with Autism(8)And his younger sister (4). I also did the morning school routine with another family with age 6,8 and 12. Then rushed off to work at school during the day and another family after school. I am experienced in SEN as well as typical developing children. I now also have my son (born dec 22)
