About Me
Hi, I’m an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting KS1 children with additional needs. I offer 1:1 support for children who may be finding learning difficult or overwhelming
I specialise in phonics, early reading, writing, and speech, language and communication development. I have worked closely with children who may be struggling with confidence, engagement, or finding learning overwhelming, and I take a calm, patient and personalised approach to help them feel safe and supported.
My sessions are tailored to each child and often include a mix of structured learning and play-based activities to make learning enjoyable and accessible. I focus not only on building skills, but also on rebuilding confidence and helping children feel positive about learning again.
While I am not a Speech and Language Therapist, I have experience supporting speech and language development and incorporate these strategies into my sessions where appropriate. If your child has SALT therapy then I can also work on specific target areas that have been set.
I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where every child can learn at their own pace and feel proud of their progress.
I celebrate and focus on the small wins and in my eyes every step is progress!
My Experience
I have previously worked as a learning support assistant in primary schools for the past 10 years. The past 3 of those years being spent in a SEN unit. I have good experience with children with addition needs and have a special interest in speech and Language.
I have also been a sole charger afterschool nanny before to twin boys.
My Qualifications
I have all my GCSE'S and have got A levels in Sociology, Psychology and Health and Social care.
I have 10 years of school experience, where I have completed lots of training.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
