My Experience
I have been working in nurseries with children aged 3 months to 5 years, for 8 years. I have completed my level 2 and 3 in childcare. I’ve progressed from trainee to; qualified, senior, room leader and manager. I’m very familiar with the EYFS and have the ability to work with and progress children in their development.
With younger siblings I also have experience with school aged children-giving them guidance and support with homework etc.
I have worked with children with ADHD, autism and down syndrome.
My Qualifications
Level 2 and 3 in childcare- qualified nursery nurse.
I have been on all the relevant courses- first aid, safeguarding, fire safety, British values, outdoor learning, makaton, prevention training, new to senco, children’s behaviour, management and leadership and over 30 relevant courses for children’s interests and development.
My Availability
I currently work four days a week 8-6 or 7-5. I would be looking for something of similar hours but would happily work longer hours etc for the right family. I’m a flexible person, so days and times are negotiable. As well as my usual hours, I would be happy to babysit on occasions too.
