My Requirements

Hi! We are looking for a Nanny starting in mid/late-September to help us three afternoons a week with our family in central Cambridge, near the river and Midsummer Common.

The core hours would be 3 – 6, Tuesday to Thursday. The duties would be collecting them from school and bringing them home (it’s a 15 minute walk but much quicker in a box bike). Then helping with some homework / music practice and giving them tea. You would need some basic cooking skills but we could provide food “ready-to-go”.

We will almost certainly need more help than the core hours – especially during the holidays – and if it makes a difference to you we could have a discussion about what that mean and formalise it. So please do still think of us if you are interested but the hours aren’t quite enough!

We have four wonderful kids, ranging from 2 to 9. Only three are at the school and one of us would collect the little one from his nursery. (Actually one option would be to swap that so that we would collect the bigger kids from school and you would do the nursery pick-up).
One of us (Hattie or Paul) would almost always be in the house as well at those times. We would be working from home and staying out of things, but there in case of real emergencies.

We will pay competitive rates and are open to discussion about what would be reasonable.
