About Me
Hello my name is Kelly, I have been a registered childminder since July 2011.
I have been working in all types of care work since leaving school. This is by far the best, helping children to progress and watching them grow. I live with my fiancee Simon of 26 years (also my assistant) and we have a daughter Summer 16 years old and a son Tyler 8 years old.
We live in the Rowanfield area of Cheltenham. Full time spaces available for under 5s and spaces for children before and after school, I have spaces for school holidays all ages. I am an accredited childminder which means your child is able to claim 15/30 hours a week of free education the term after their 3rd birthday. (some 2 year olds if been approved)
My Experience
I have worked alot in care with the elderly and disabled students, i was working with a childminder as an assistant and now childmind from home myself, Also i have done lots of babysitting for friends,family and at hotels.
My Qualifications
Early Years First Aid,
CRB checked,
GNVQ in Health and Social care.
Unit 1 in Home Based childcare. (level 3).
Food Hygiene.
Chid protection training.
Diploma level 3,
My Availability
24/7 around the clock care for childminding.
Overnight care provided at special rates.
I have full time space for school holidays and also have spaces available for children before and after school and holiday cover.
I have fullltime spaces for under 5s and i have spaces for the school holidays.
Space for school pick ups (Rowanfield School)
Space available starting ASAP.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£7.00 an hour childminding rate 8-6 will consider hours outside of these if needed.(Including snacks and meals if here over meal time).
£7.00 an hour after school care minimun 2 hours.

If you’re looking for the best, you’ve got it here. Kelly has been looking after my daughter since she was 2 years old, shes now 7 and still absolutely adores Kelly and Simon. Kelly has always gone above and beyond for my daughter and the children she cares for and remembers every detail. Her kindness and attentiveness to your child’s needs is something that shouldn’t be overlooked. My daughter has always loved being with Kelly and when our circumstances changed a little bit last year we were sad to say goodbye- but as quickly as things change we were in need of a childminder again and I would never look any further than Kelly. My daughter is so excited to be going back to Kelly’s and has missed spending time with the whole family.
Kelly has always been understanding approachable and easy to talk to, she understand the ups and downs of life and has been flexible with last minute changes and understood the demands that were on me whilst doing my nursing degree. I genuinely couldn’t have completed my nursing degree if I didn’t have Kelly- and for that I will always be grateful.
Kelly has become more than our childminder over the last few years and has always treated our daughter as if she was part of her family. When she started at 2 years old I was worried about leaving my daughter in someone else’s care whilst I was studying or on placement for long hours, but Kelly really made my daughter feel safe, loved and welcomed and she settled in really well. When it came to choosing a nursery/preschool, I opted to remain with Kelly as my daughter was coming on well in her care and was so ready for school in reception, and there were so many added benefits of having what felt like a home away from home.
Kelly always ensures that she communicates any messages from school, if and what my daughter has eaten with her and notices little things like if she’s had a hard day and seems a little down.
The last 5 years have gone so quickly and I genuinely couldn’t thank Kelly and Simon enough for everything they have done, not only for me but for my daughter in that time. We appreciate you all so much!

We couldn’t be happier with Kelly and Simon. Our son has been with them since he was 10 months old, and he is now 2.5 years old. He absolutely loves spending time with them, and we always know he is happy and well looked after. We are so grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend Kelly and Simon to any family looking for amazing childminders. :)

I honestly don’t know what we’d do without you! From the day Tommy started with you, you’ve made him feel so happy, safe and loved. It’s so reassuring knowing he’s with someone who genuinely cares about him like he’s one of their own. I’m so grateful for all the patience you give him every single day (he is feral) Nothing is ever too much trouble, and you’ve always been there for us whenever we’ve needed you.
Somewhere along the way, you’ve become so much more than Tommy’s childminder. You’ve become a friend, and I feel so lucky that we’ve found you. Thank you for all your support, and for being there for me and Tommy the way you do.
We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know, and I couldn’t recommend you enough. You’re simply amazing, and we’re so grateful you’re such a big part of our life!
