About Me
Ofsted Registered Childminder offering nurturing care in a spacious and clean family home with indoor and outdoor play areas.
A range of toys and activities to suit children’s interests and development are always on offer including sensory play, heuristic play and treasure baskets. I have a keen interest in forest school/nature activities and believe children should develop their gross and fine motor activities in the great outdoors as much as possible.
I work closely with other childminders and go to libraries, parks and playgroups together which gives children opportunities to become fimiliar with the wider environment, the local community and a range of other children. This builds on their social skills, confidence and understanding of the world around them.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to assess and plan for children's individual needs and interest through fun and play based activities but most importantly I pay particular focus on children building a secure and trusting bond with me through warm and loving care and attention through which they later confidently explore their environment.
As well as being Ofsted registered, I am on Islington Council's Childminder's Quality Assurance Scheme and get regularly inspected by the Islington Council to ensure I maintain best practice and outcome for the children.

My Experience
I have over eight years of experience as a childminder, backed by a previous career as a Personal Assistant within the NHS, where I developed excellent organisational and communication skills. Alongside my work, I run a community engagement group and volunteer as a Family and SEN Support Mentor, helping families access guidance and support.
As a mother of five children, with four now at university or beyond and my youngest aged 13, I bring both professional expertise and real-life parenting experience. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children and families feel supported and valued.
My Qualifications
-Level 3 Diploma in Childcare
-Level 3 Diploma in Child Psychology - CPD Accredited.
-L3 Childminding
-First Aid - Paediatric.
-GCSEs and A Levels.
My Availability
Open 8am to 5.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £11.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
30 hours funded free and £11ph thereafter. Non funded is £12ph.
I do consider shorter days to bring your cost down (minimum 8 hrs per day)
