About Me
Hello, I’m Katie I’m 32 and I have 2 children, 9 and 4. I am based in Wickford but happy to travel. My youngest will be starting school Sept 23 so I am looking for some extra nannying or mothers help hours. If extra help around the home is what you need I am happy to provide light house keeping duties too. I am also currently nannying for 2 boys aged 9 and 11 on a Monday and Tuesday after school, I love my current work-family and we have a great relationship.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children, both the challenges and rewards it presents! I am outgoing, organised, caring, honest and passionate about my work. I believe that as a nanny I am there to shadow you as parents and extend your parenting methods to when you are not there. I believe consistency and honesty is key to maintaining a good relationship with the families I care for and I have an excellent relationship with my current family.
My availability is as follows- 9.30am to 2.30pm (depending on location and travel) Wednesday to Friday. I am happy to offer ad-hoc babysitting too.
My ideal position would be term time only but I am open to consider positions that aren’t. I am registered as self-employed and happy to be either self-employed or employed.

My Experience
I have been a nanny for 4 different families (including my current family) since completing my degree when I was 21. Alongside nannying I have worked in 2 different Preschool settings as an Early Years Practitioner with children 2-4 years.
As a nanny I have looked after babies from only a few days old to children aged 11. I am confident with Newborns and I also have experience with children that have additional needs.
