About Me

Hello I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and Early Years and have worked overseas and in UK for over 20 years.
I am First Aid trained.
I very good with food and enjoy cooking and fully understand food allergies and special dietary requirements.
I love baking and arts and crafts and happy to organise activities with Children if so required.
Full UK Licence and own car if required.

Due to a career change decision, i have decided i would like to take step back from teaching for many years and now that my old child is older and focus on more one-to-one childcare within a home environment.

I have a happy and fairly independent Son of 13 years old who is at full-time school locally in St Albans.
And i fully able to work around school hours to accommodate your own childcare needs.

Having worked with children from the ages of birth to 15 years in the UK and overseas i can confidently say i have a caring and understanding nature for every child's needs. And find children are naturally drawn to me as i have a soft, kind and maternal nature as children require love and comfort.
Although i also understand the need for discipline, structure and organisation for a child's development and growth.
Overall it is my professional duty and care to administer safe-guarding.

Available to start.
Only able to work Term time only, however I am completely negotiable and flexible on this.
