Monday & Tuesday full time space available from September 2023 D M Childminding, Soulbury Road.
I live in Linslade with my wife and our son & daughter. Our family home is a great place for children with a spacious lounge, kitchen/diner, conservatory, and a large, secure garden.
I am friendly and personable, and am excellent with children. I come from a very large family, and have been looking after children since I was 8. On top of this I have experience working with older children with behavioral difficulties, and children and adults with physical disabilities. I was Rated 'Good' by Ofsted in September 2021.
We are a non smoking household and don't have any pets. There is free parking outside out house and we are an 8 minute walk to the train station, perfect for parents who commute.
My Experience
I have been working as a Childminder since Mid 2017. I have been looking after children since I was young myself. I started out baby sitting and also volunteered in a local school. I have worked as a play-worker in a nursery for several years and also as a Nanny for a UK holiday company for two seasons (including as a supervisor managing other childcare staff).
I have also worked as a sports instructor (including climbing, sailing, and hockey) over many years.
I have experience working with children from 3 months up to 18 years old; as well as having my own children.
In September 2021 I was rated "Good" across the board by Ofsted.

Level 3 NCFE CACHE award in Home Based Childcare
Full Paediatric First aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children Certificate
My Availability
I am Available Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 6pm. Current spaces are Monday & Tuesdays
I offer wrap around services for children at Southcott Lower School, including drop off and pick up.

Dan has been a great childminder. He provides a really supportive environment for the children - they enjoy their time with Dan and ask to see him!
I was particularly impressed with Dan’s communication - I got good, regular updates on what my children were doing - and how Dan is very outdoors focused, taking the children out a lot for fresh air, exercise and fun.
A really positive experience with Dan as a parent and my children loved it too. Thanks Dan!

Dan has been great with our son Henry. A really welcoming environment for parents & children with a homely feel. Henry has always had a great time with Dan and the other children and it's very easy to see why! Drop off is easy as henry runs in to start his day!

Dan is a great childminder and fills me with confidence that my 2 year old is in good care while I’m at work. He is very supportive of my child’s emotional and developmental needs, as well as being super flexible for us as parents. Highly recommended.
