Part Time Nanny Job in Bath
About Me
We are a warm and busy family in Bath. Both parents work full time and one of us works from home, so you will usually have a parent in the house though not involved in the day to day care. We are a happy and easy going household that values fairness and open communication. We currently work closely with our nanny and want someone comfortable suggesting ideas and not just following instructions. We use NannyTax to manage payroll so everything is above board including PAYE, pension and payslips.
My Requirements
? Monday to Thursday, school pick up until 6.30pm, approx. 16 to 18 hours a week
? Collecting the girls from their two schools (different schools from September)
? Escorting to and from after school clubs
?? Preparing a simple evening meal
? Supporting with homework
?? School holidays, usually same routine via holiday clubs, though open to adjusting
?? Occasional extra hours when work takes us away, with as much notice as possible, paid at standard rate
Requirements:
? Full UK driving licence and own car
? First aid certificate
? Right to work in the UK, willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
? Experience with school age children
? Two recent childcare references
? Reliable, warm and communicative
Nice to have, not essential:
?? French speaking, would love someone to nurture the girls’ basic French and interest in it
? Ofsted registered, happy to sponsor for the right candidate

Chloe started to look after our little girl when she was 3 months old and has been helping us on a regular basis ever since. We’ve found Chloe to be incredibly responsible, mature and reliable and I highly recommend her services.
She’s great with our daughter - playing with her, making her laugh but also knowledgeable and confident on the tougher and grumpier days. Nothing phases her!
Chloe is also very kind and caring. She’s taken a real interest in our daughter’s development and suggested relevant activities and toys based on observations she’s made about what our daughter enjoys doing. I can also tell how much my daughter enjoys spending time with Chloe which makes it easier to leave her.
All in all, we’ve been delighted with Chloe and feel very fortunate to have found her!
