About Me

Hello, my name is Emma and I am an experienced childcare professional with over 17 years of experience working within nursery settings, alongside the last 6 years working as a private nanny.

Working with children is genuinely my passion and something I have dedicated my career to. I have extensive experience caring for children from newborn through to 11 years old and pride myself on creating a calm, loving, safe and engaging environment where children feel secure, happy and able to thrive.

Over the years I have built strong relationships with the families I have worked with and understand the importance of becoming a trusted, reliable and supportive part of family life. I am confident managing busy routines, supporting developmental milestones, planning age appropriate activities, encouraging learning through play and adapting to each child’s individual needs and personality.

As well as my professional experience, I am also a very hands on and devoted auntie to my three nieces aged 8, 5 and newborn, and my 1 year old nephew, all of whom I absolutely adore. Caring for children comes very naturally to me and I truly love what I do.

I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, have completed First Aid training throughout my career and hold a DBS check. I am happy to carry out all nanny duties including school runs, meal preparation, organising activities and outings, children’s laundry, bedtime routines and helping households run smoothly day to day.

I also have my own vehicle, allowing me to be flexible and dependable for school collections, appointments and days out.

Families would describe me as warm, trustworthy, organised, patient and approachable. I take great pride in the care I provide and always aim to give parents complete peace of mind knowing their children are safe, cared for and genuinely valued in my care.
