About Me
Hello! We are a mother and daughter team, and we’re so excited to be starting our childminding journey together. We’re hoping to open our doors in January 2027 and would love to get to know local families before then.
Between us, we have over 30 years of childcare experience, and caring for children has always been at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is simple - to create a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, loved, happy, and excited to learn every day.
My mum, Julie, is an incredible asset to our team. Many people affectionately call her Mary Poppins because she has an incredible gift for making every child feel loved, secure, and special. She previously owned her own nursery before taking time out to raise her family. For the past 20 years, she has worked in childcare, leading the baby room and caring for babies from just 3 months to 18 months old. As a mum of four, she brings a wealth of experience, patience, and kindness that families have always appreciated.
My childcare journey began 14 years ago in a nursery for 4 great years before I spent nearly 7 years as a nanny, caring for children of all ages and building lasting relationships with the families I worked with. Although I later became a Personal Assistant, becoming a mum of 2 reminded me just how much I loved working with children and inspired me to return to the career I’m so passionate about.
Together, we’ll provide a caring, fun, and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore, and grow at their own pace. Whether we’re baking, crafting, exploring nature, visiting parks and toddler groups, or enjoying days out, every day will be filled with opportunities to learn through play and create happy memories.
We hope to create a setting where children are treated like family and parents feel completely confident leaving their little ones in our care.
Although we’re hoping to open in January 2027, we’d love to start meeting local families now. Whether you’re planning ahead, looking for childcare, or simply have a few questions, please get in touch- we would love to hear from you!

My Experience
With over 30 years of combined childcare experience including SEND, we’ve cared for children across a variety of settings, including nurseries, family homes and early years environments. Our experience, alongside being mums ourselves, has given us the knowledge, patience and understanding to provide high-quality, individualised care where every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to thrive.
My Qualifications
GCSE, A levels, studied BA HONS at university, First aid trained, safe guarding
