My Summary

My Experience

I am currently teaching at a lovely 2 form entry infants school, as a reception teacher. I have worked in EYFS setting in a school in Brixton, and a Year 2 class in a Southfields primary school. During these experiences in school settings, I got to know the children, engaged in the EYFS and KS1/2 curriculum, and planned and taught lessons to meet the individual needs and attainment levels of all children. During my studies, I am working as a Student Ambassador (recently promoted to Senior Student Ambassador) where I am meeting prospective students and working at schools and colleges, to promote the university. I love meeting new people and providing high quality customer service, and have shown my initiative and leadership, which then resulted in a promotion. In the school holidays, I am an Early Years Manager for Barracudas (promoted last year from a Early Years Group Leader), which is a holiday camp for children aged 4-13. This job role includes being the line manager for Group leaders and ensuring they are proving a duty of care for EYFS children. Also, I plan activities focusing on all the Early Learning Goals, meeting the individual needs of all children, and I demonstrate good organisation and working well under pressure. In my past and current experiences, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills through clear communication, motivation towards my work, and enthusiasm through using my initiative.
