Dear Families, My name is Irene and I am a Spanish Child Psychologist who moved to the UK eight years ago to work as an au pair. It was a great experience and made me realise how satisfying is to work with children. I consider myself a patient, creative, flexible, and cheerful girl who loves working with children and helping them to develop new skills and to become more independent.
My Experience
I have experience working with children under 5 as I completed my master's placement in a center with children with special needs. I worked as an au pair looking after a 2,5 years ago little girl for a year. I also worked as a Nursery Practitioner for 2 years and have been doing part-time nanny jobs and babysitting throughout the years. My last job was as a full time nanny looking after a one year old little girl for almost a year.
Previously I worked as a support worker supporting children and young people with learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, and Challenging behaviours. I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in a specialist clinic with children and adults with ADHD.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Child Psychologist. I also have a Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 1 and Level 2 in Makaton.
My Availability
Monday to Friday (from 5pm) and Saturday and Sunday (all day)
