About Me
I'm an Ofsted registered childminder graded ‘Good’. I have a passion for supporting the youngest in our society and enabling the very best start in life. In a kind & caring, family home setting, we have lots of adventures and fun learning new things as we go. Any child that comes to my setting really becomes part of the family.
My Experience
I'm a married mother of 2 teenage girls, with a family full of children of all ages. I’ve now been childminding for 8 years. I also have experience with additional needs and i am a qualified Level 3 Early Years SENCO.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid, full DBS with registration on the update service, Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead, Level 3 Early Years Senco, Food Hygiene Cert.

Limited availability from September 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Government funding & tax free scheme accepted. Outside of funding starting at £6.50 p/h. With no consumables charges or any hidden costs.

My daughter has been with Kathryn for almost 2 years now. We visited dozens of Nursery's and nothing felt right until we visited Kathryn's home. From day 1 my daughter has felt comfortable with Kathryn and has learnt so much. She has had so many opportunities to learn new things and visit different places. It is hard to trust someone else with your child, but I always know my daughter is being well cared for and I have loved seeing the bond they have built. We will miss Kathryn when our daughter starts school nursery but will treasure all the lovely memories they have made together ❤️ we couldn't have chosen or imagined a better child minder!

Making the decision to choose someone to care for your children is up there with one of the hardest as a parent.
You want someone who is going to nurture your children and care for them as much as you do. Making the decision to return to work was so daunting for me until I found Kathryn, dropping my daughter knowing she was safe and happy everyday made it so much easier. Kathryn is so much more than a childminder she became part of our life the care provided was explicit and I will be forever grateful for all the support for both my children and us as a family. My daughter still talks about Kathryn and the core memories made while she was in her care, to me that speaks volumes. I would recommend Kathryn every time she really is one of a kind!

Choosing a childminder is so tough, but we hit the jackpot. Kathryn is the most caring, encouraging, and genuinely lovely person. She doesn’t just watch our daughter; she is so invested in her development and celebrates every little win with her. The love and dedication she shows every single day is amazing, and our daughter absolutely thrives with her. We honestly couldn't ask for anyone better, highly, highly recommend.
