Hi, I’m Aimee! I’m 26 and a proud mum to a wonderful 1-year-old boy. I have previously worked as a carer supporting vulnerable adults and children with disabilities, and I now work in the office side of social care. This has given me a strong understanding of care, safeguarding, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment.
As a babysitter, I bring both professional care experience and the perspective of being a mum. I know how important it is to find someone reliable and trustworthy to look after your children, and I aim to make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.
I’m always happy to arrange a friendly meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your child(ren) can get to know me and feel confident before any babysitting takes place.
My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children, including as a childminding assistant while completing my Level 2 Childcare qualification. Since the age of 16, I have been babysitting for a number of families.
I also hold:
• Level 2 Childcare and Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications
• Enhanced DBS check
• Online safeguarding training
In addition, I have gained hands-on experience through:
• 50 hours of volunteering in a nursery setting
• 50 hours of volunteering in a primary school setting
