About Me

I have been married to my husband Ian for almost 25 years and we have 2 grown up daughters. I am currently working a few days a week caring for 2 boys before and after school. I also care for 2 year old twins 2 days a week but unfortunately they are relocating shortly so I am looking to fill the gap. I am an active person and like keeping fit by going to the gym and walking. I enjoy reading and also like to try out new recipes. And of course spend quality time with my husband and girls. My Experience

Most of my working career has been spent nannying for professional people including a G.P/teacher/solicitor/managing director/ CEO. I meet all the children's basic needs, prepare meals, plan art and craft and messy play and take the children to play groups, children's centres, parks, library etc. A lot of the children I have looked after like to bake... banana loaf/muffins and cookies are our favourites! The best part of my job is building loving relationships with the children. I live nothing better than snuggling up in the sofa with lots of story books! I also help with domestic chores ie, general tidying up after children, ironing children's clothes and changing beds etc. I am proud to say that I still keep in touch with the families I have worked for and some of them are now in their 20,s with children of their own!
